Preparing Files

FILE FORMAT:
We accept the following file formats: TIFF, JPG, EPS and PDF

RESOLUTION:
All file formats must have a minimum of 350 dpi resolution. The images designed for the web done at a low screen resolution of 72 will not give you a quality piece. Print images need to be created at 350 dpi or there will be a substantial drop in the image quality.

COLOR MODE:
All full color artwork and/or images must be provided in CMYK color mode. All spot color images must be color separated for printing purposes. If you have any questions, please call.

BLEED:
What is a bleed? It is the portion of the card that will be trimmed off when job is cut to the final size.

Why bleed? The purpose of a bleed is to continue a color, image or design to the edge of the card.

You must add 1/8" on all edges in order for your job to have a bleed. You must change the project dimensions in the design stage. For instance, a business card is 3 1/2 x 2 with no bleed. With a full bleed, the business card dimension must be 3 3/4 x 2 1/4.
